Part A â Overview
Use and Interpretation
The Bet Logic Online Exchange Rules are part of the platform's overall Terms & Conditions and apply to all bets made on Exchange markets. These rules also govern Exchange Multiples (see more below), but they do not apply to bets placed on the Bet Logic Online Sportsbook or Fixed Odds products.
The Exchange Rules include:
- This introductory section (Part A);
- General Rules (Part B);
- Specific Sports Rules (Part C â relevant to individual sports and financial markets);
- Market Information (visible on each market page under the "Rules" or "i" icon).
Unless otherwise stated, General Rules apply to all Exchange bets. If a conflict arises, Specific Sports Rules override General Rules, and Market Information overrides bothâunless the rules explicitly state otherwise.
If there are no sport-specific rules (e.g. for "Special Bets" or niche events like beach volleyball), only the General Rules and Market Information apply.
Please note: each Bet Logic Online product (Exchange, Sportsbook, etc.) has separate rules. Settlement processes can differ significantly, and the same bet might produce different outcomes across different products. Make sure to understand the rules specific to the platform you're using.
Market Information
Each market includes a section called Market Information, which gives guidance on how that market is managed and settled. It should be read alongside the General and Specific Sports Rules. Market Information may include important settlement conditions, but itâs not a substitute for reading the full rule set.
Bet Logic Online may suspend any market at any time for operational reasons or to protect users, regardless of what is stated in the Market Information. The Market Information can only be changed after market launch to correct mistakes or clarify existing information.
Customer Responsibility
It is each customerâs responsibility to understand the applicable rules before placing a bet. Market Information alone may not include all relevant terms. For markets labeled as "Special Bets," where outcomes are more unpredictable, extra care and attention are strongly advised.
Disputes and IBAS
Any issues around bet outcomes or market settlement will be handled per Bet Logic Online âs Dispute Resolution Policy. If the Independent Betting Adjudication Service (IBAS) rules in favor of a customer, Bet Logic Online may, at its discretion:
- Reverse previous settlements and adjust customer balances accordingly; or
- Compensate the customer based on their net position, paying any difference between what was originally paid and what should have been paid under the IBAS ruling.
Betting Features on the Exchange
Best Price Execution
The Best Price Execution feature ensures that customers get matched at the most favorable odds available on the Exchange. When this setting is enabled (which is the default), if better odds become available after your bet is submitted, the system will automatically match your bet at those improved odds.
If you disable this feature, your bet will not be matched at better odds, even if available â it will lapse and must be resubmitted manually.
The feature is on by default and strongly recommended. UK-based customers can toggle it off through account settings. Learn more about Best Price Execution here.
MatchMe
MatchMe is an optional feature designed to increase the chance your bet gets matched. When enabled, it allows your bet to be automatically adjusted within a pre-set price range if the market moves against you before your bet is matched.
MatchMe is off by default. You can enable or disable it per bet via the bet slip or in your settings. If MatchMe can't help, your bet will remain unmatched at the original odds.
Cross-Matching
Bet Logic Online uses a process called cross-matching to improve matching efficiency across related markets:
- Cross-selection matching: Helps match bets by considering unmatched bets on all outcomes within the same market.
- Cross-market matching: Looks across related markets (e.g., Match Odds, Over/Under, Asian Handicap) to find the best available match.
All matched bets â including those using cross-matching â must conform to Bet Logic Online âs odds ladder. Sometimes, this process results in Biceps Bet earning a small margin due to price increments.
Cross-matching is only used if it improves the customer's matched price. Regardless of cross-matching, if multiple unmatched bets are available at the same price, bets are matched in the order received (first come, first served).
Part B â General Rules
In-Play Market Management
1.1 General Provisions
If a market is not scheduled to go in-play but Bet Logic Online Limited fails to suspend it at the appropriate time, bets placed after the official start (or âoffâ) time may be voided. For sports with scheduled start times, any bets matched after that time will be cancelled. For events without clear start times, Bet Logic Online Limited will determine the most accurate âoffâ time and void all bets matched after that point.
In horse and greyhound racing, if the market isnât suspended as intended, any bets matched after the official race start time will be void.
Markets labeled as ânot actively managedâ may not be suspended precisely at the beginning or end of events. Bet Logic Online aims to manage them fairly, but this is not guaranteed. Customers must manage their in-play positions themselves, especially as "live" broadcasts may be delayed.
1.2 Failure to Suspend at âOffâ Time
For markets planned to go in-play, Bet Logic Online will try to suspend and re-open markets at the exact start time as shown in the Market Info. However, if this doesnât happen, bets matched after the determined start time â but before the market is properly reopened â will be void.
1.3 Soccer & VAR Events
If Bet Logic Online does not suspend a soccer market for a Material Event (goal, red card, or penalty), it reserves the right to void all bets placed after the event occurred.
If VAR cancels a Material Event, all bets placed between the occurrence and cancellation of the event will be void. For goals later confirmed by VAR, no voiding occurs.
Material Events are considered reviewed by default. Bets matched after a âPossible VARâ notification â received from our data feed provider â may be voided if the incident is later cancelled.
1.4 Racing Markets â Suspension Failures
If Bet Logic Online does not suspend a racing market at the âoffâ, unmatched bets may remain active. Any bets matched after the official off time are usually void unless explicitly allowed (e.g., in Australian racing after in-play activation).
2. Market Settlement
2.1 Standard Settlement
Markets are settled per the Market Info or relevant sport-specific rules. If neither clarifies settlement criteria, Bet Logic Online Limited uses the official result from the sportâs governing body. Changes announced within 24 hours may be applied. If no official result is available, Bet Logic Online will use trusted external sources to determine the outcome.
2.2 Adjustments and Re-Settlement
Markets may be initially settled based on early information, but Bet Logic Online reserves the right to adjust this if:
- The official result later changes;
- The market is eventually voided due to a cancellation or error.
In such cases, customer balances will be updated accordingly.
2.3 Withdrawals and Non-Starters
Unless the market says âAll bets stand,â bets on withdrawn or non-starting participants will be void. If a participant starts but fails to finish (and others complete the event), bets on that participant will be settled as a loss.
2.4 'Winner with [Named Selection]' Markets
If a market depends on a specific competitor's participation (e.g., âWinner with Federerâ), and that competitor doesnât participate, all bets are void. If other competitors donât participate, bets still stand.
3. Postponements, Abandonments, and Venue Changes
If an event isnât completed within three days of its original date, bets will be void â unless already settled or market-specific rules say otherwise.
For tournaments, Bet Logic Online follows the governing bodyâs decision if made within 90 days. Otherwise, affected bets are void.
Venue changes affect team sports only if the venue becomes the home ground of the opposing team. Surface changes (e.g., grass to turf) do not impact settlement.
4. Time-Based Markets
Unless otherwise stated, soccer bets apply to 90 minutes of regulation time plus stoppage. Extra time and penalties are excluded unless explicitly mentioned.
In events with irregular formats (e.g., three quarters), only full-time results count. Goals in stoppage time are considered as scored at the end of the half.
5. Match Bets
Match bets are settled on who achieves the better result (e.g., time, score, position). If neither participant completes the event, bets are void unless rules specify otherwise.
For competitions with multiple rounds, progress is based on who qualifies furthest. Disqualifications are treated as last among those still competing. Bets are void if neither team participates.
6. To Qualify Markets
Bets are settled based on qualification, regardless of actual participation in future rounds. Later disqualifications do not affect results.
7. Dead Heats
If more winners are declared than expected, the stake is divided by the number of winners, and payouts are adjusted accordingly.
8. Bet Logic Online Starting Price (SP)
The SP is a fixed odds system calculated at market suspension by matching backers and layers. Unmatched Exchange bets can convert to SP if chosen. SP bets cannot be cancelled once placed.
Minimum liability is ÂŁ10 for SP lay bets and ÂŁ1 for SP back bets. Bets are matched according to best available offers and Bet Logic Online Limited's odds ladder.
SP reconciliation errors may lead to adjusted or reversed settlements. Late non-runners may affect prices through applied reduction factors.
9. Keep Bets
Customers may choose to keep unmatched Exchange bets active when a market goes in-play. However, in some cases, such as late non-runners, Bet Logic Online may cancel these bets to protect fairness.
10. Tote Betting
Tote bets placed on Bet Logic Online are treated as bets against Bet Logic Online , which then places a corresponding bet into the relevant Tote pool. Rules of the official Tote operator will apply where discrepancies arise.
11. Cash Out & Auto Cash Out
11.1 Cash Out
Cash Out allows you to lock in profit or reduce loss before the event ends. It isnât always available and may be affected by market activity or suspension. If accepted, your bets are adjusted automatically. If voided later, payouts are reversed.
11.2 Auto Cash Out
Auto Cash Out lets you set a profit threshold. If reached, Bet Logic Online will attempt to cash out your position automatically. Success isnât guaranteed, especially in low liquidity or fast-moving markets. Once triggered, unmatched bets on that market are cancelled.
12. General Provisions
All times are based on local event time zones. Bet Logic Online Limited is not liable for delays or errors in data (e.g., results or odds), but will take steps to correct clear mistakes.
If markets are created with incorrect selections, prices, or structures, Bet Logic Online may suspend or void them. Customers are responsible for ensuring theyâre betting on the correct selection.
Bet Logic Online may suspend markets or void bets to maintain integrity. Related bets across different products may not be treated consistently â customers accept this risk.
Rules are subject to change. Any updates take effect upon publication and apply to all newly created markets.
Rounding of payouts is to the nearest two decimal places, except BSP winnings, which are always rounded down.
In case of language differences, the version most favorable to the customer will apply.
Part C - Specific sports rules
American Football
Unless specified, all bets are settled including overtime. If the game ends in a tie post-OT, match winner wagers are void. If the match is not played within three days, all unsettled bets are void unless a result is declared or over 55 minutes are played.
Athletics
Results are based on official standings during the ceremony. Any changes after that wonât affect settled bets unless corrected within 24 hours. Canceled events not held within 7 days render bets void unless already decided.
Australian Rules Football
Bets include regular time only, except in finals where overtime counts. If tied, dead-heat rules apply. Unfinished matches void bets unless the outcome is known or based on official results after halftime.
Baseball
MLB, WBC, and Japanese games include extra innings. Bets are void unless 9 innings are played (or 7 for short matches). Both listed pitchers must start for those markets to stand. Matches not completed within three days void all active bets.
Basketball
Unless otherwise stated, bets include overtime. NBA games require 43 minutes to be valid, other leagues 35. If incomplete, only settled markets stand; tied scores apply dead heat rules.
Boxing and MMA
Official decision post-fight determines outcome unless revised within 24 hours. No-starts void all bets. If a fighter retires or is DQâd, opponent is winner. Changes in venue or format may void some bets.
Cricket
Weather-shortened matches follow official rulings (e.g. Duckworth Lewis). Bowl-offs or coin tosses invalidate match bets. Test matches not finished in 5 days or abandoned for non-weather reasons may void all bets.
Cycling
Results are based on the official ceremony. Late changes are ignored unless corrected within 24 hours. Voided if not completed within the event timeframe.
Darts
Match not finished = void. Bets on legs, games, or sets are void if not decided. Handicap and score markets void unless result is confirmed.
eSports
Bets follow tournament organizersâ official results. Changes in format may void markets. Awarded maps are disregarded. Match delays over 48 hours void all active series bets.
Financial Markets
Settlements rely on Bloomberg data at market close. Revisions within 24 hours are accepted. Split shares or corrections after this are not considered.
Golf
Bets only valid if enough holes are played. Ceremony outcomes determine winners. Player withdrawals after starting count as losses. Restarted rounds void late bets unless already settled.
Greyhound Racing
Trap numbers govern bets; name listings are for info only. Markets use track results when greenlit. Voids occur for venue changes, no runners, or meeting abandonment.
Horse Racing
All results are final at weigh-in. Venue or date changes void bets. Ante-post bets stand unless a horse is dead or scratched. Non-runner rules apply with calculated reductions on remaining odds.
Ice Hockey
Regular time bets exclude OT, Moneyline includes it. At least 55 minutes must be played. If tied and no draw market is offered, apply dead-heat rules.
Motor Sports
Official results or podium presentation determine bets. Match bets are based on laps completed. Venue changes void all affected bets.
Rowing
Crews that donât finish are considered losers unless no team finishes. Ceremony results are final unless corrected within 24 hours.
Rugby Union and League
Stats like tries and points include extra time. Abandoned matches void bets unless results are confirmed. Events like âtime of first tryâ follow specific time logic.
Snooker and Pool
If not completed, the player who advances is the winner. All other markets are void unless already settled. Handicap bets also void unless results are clear.
Soccer
Markets consider VAR-related events. Matches delayed beyond 3 days are void unless results are declared. Goals, cards, and corners follow official sources and may be resettled within 48 hours for errors.
Swimming
Official results at ceremony time are final unless corrected within 24 hours. If no ceremony, the governing body's published result is used.
Tennis
If a player retires before one set is completed, all bets are void. Matches shortened by rules void most markets unless clearly resolved. Surface changes donât affect bet validity.
Winter Sports
Official results at ceremonies are decisive. Delays over 48 hours void bets. Head-to-head bets favor the competitor progressing further or posting better time if tied.
